Sqn Ldr Tom Hunt is the Deputy Camp Commandant of NASC, this is an essential role in the planning, preparation, and execution of the camp pulling a huge staff team together in order to deliver the best air, space, and cyber training week in the RAFAC.

I am the Deputy Camp Commandant, and I lead on the camp’s planning and preparations. Since the camp’s conception in 2015, I have undertaken many of the management roles and it has been fantastic to see the camp grow and evolve each year. As the programme gets more impressive and number of activities grow, the organisation that is needed behind the scenes grows too. To support all of the different functions and roles on camp, I have a team of nearly 100 staff who undertake specific duties on camp with significant amounts of work in advance. On camp, you will see me in the arrival briefing and visiting lots of the activities.
